Seed is a charity based in Bristol promoting and facilitating environmental education, appreciation and action.

In the last fifty years we have lost 97% of our wildflower meadows (since 1947, English Nature), mainly destroyed through intensive agriculture. Wildflower meadows are a species rich habitat, supporting many species including butterflies, bees, other invertebrates and birds.

Seed provides free native wildflower meadow seeds for people to grow, enjoy and explore their own bit of meadow habitat.

The packets contain over 20 species of native wildflower and grass to give the widest range of plants for varying soil types and to support the most species.
